Hindi AI Trainer – Remote Contractor Role | SME Careers

About the Role

We’re hiring remote contractors to help train and improve top AI models. You’ll review AI-generated answers, check them for accuracy and logic, and write high-quality example responses. The work involves fact-checking, spotting errors in reasoning, rating different AI outputs, and making sure Hindi translations sound natural and culturally correct for Indian users.

You’ll use both Hindi and English daily, applying professional translation and localization judgment. This role is with SME Careers, an AI data services company working with leading AI labs worldwide. Your feedback directly shapes how AI models respond.

Who Should Apply

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or related field

- Native or near-native Hindi with strong knowledge of Indian language conventions

- C1-level English for reading and writing instructions and guidelines

- 5+ years in translation, localization, or content review work

- Experience with CAT tools, translation memory, and QA processes

- Strong attention to detail and ability to fact-check using reliable sources

- Comfortable working as an hourly contractor across time zones

- Prior experience in AI data annotation or evaluation is a plus

Key Responsibilities

1. Create training content: Write clear prompts and model answers across different topics to guide AI learning.

2. Evaluate AI responses: Compare and rank answers based on correctness, clarity, and relevance.

3. Quality checks: Test for errors, biases, and inconsistencies to ensure reliable AI performance.

4. Localize content: Ensure Hindi translations are accurate in tone, terminology, and cultural context.

- 100% remote, hourly-paid contractor position

- Flexible hours, but consistent output and responsiveness expected

- Only candidates based in India with Hindi proficiency will be considered
